I provide individual and group counseling to pre-teens, adolescents, and adults.
Each healing journey is unique and not always linear. I create a safe space for you to be accepted exactly where you are in your personal journey.
My areas of specialized experience and interest include anxiety, social anxiety, “over-thinking”, perfectionism, bullying, parenting, post-partum adjustment, grief/loss, adjustment to disability/diagnosis, chronic illness/pain, trauma (PTSD, domestic violence, abuse, sexual assault), trauma related to identity (i.e., racism, ableism, homophobia, ageism).
I am committed to social justice, and incorporate approaches that honor and value diverse identities. I am LGBTQ+ affirming.
I use evidence-based strategies including Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (MBCBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR), Somatic Experiencing, Interpersonal Effectiveness, Shame Resiliency. Perhaps most importantly, I empower you to tune in to your inner wisdom.
